Plant Varities

New plant varieties are protected through Plant Breeder’s Rights (PBR) applications. The protection period granted from the date of registration is 25 years, with the exception of vine, tress, groups of flower bulbs, woody small fruits, woody ornamentals, potatoes and asparagus, where the protection period is 30 years.

• All Procedural Actions Until Registration

All procedural steps are closely monitored and managed until the final registration decision is reached.

• Recordal of Address/Title/Change of Name and Recordal of License/Merger/Assignment

Any recordal of address, title, change of name and recordal of license/merger/assignment is carried out before the relevant authority.
